The course provides texts for English-Vietnamese translation in different fields and topics.  At the end of the course, students can translate from English to Vietnamese and vice versa written texts at a language level that are not too complicated with common topics in everyday life (not technical or specialized language) that requires a level of reading comprehension as well as translated into English these documents equivalent to an English user at level 4 according to the 6-level foreign language competency framework used for Vietnam.

Khi kết thúc HP, sinh viên có thể biên dịch từ tiếng Anh sang tiếng Việt và ngược lại các ngôn bản viết ở mức độ ngôn ngữ không quá phức tạp với các chủ điểm thường gặp trong cuộc sống hằng ngày (không mang tính chất kỹ thuật hay chuyên ngành)  mà yêu cầu mức năng lực đọc hiểu cũng như chuyển ngữ sang tiếng Anh các văn bản này tương đương người sử dụng tiếng Anh ở bậc 4 theo khung năng lực ngoại ngữ 6 bậc dùng cho Việt Nam.
